Organic Power Ltd

In tackling climate change and developing secure energy policies less dependent on fossil fuels, governments across the globe are driving rapid growth in the renewable energy base. Ireland among other EU countries has not only deregulated its power market opening the way for local generators to connect to the national grid but is mandating that 33% of energy supply comes from renewable sources by 2020 vs. a present level of less than 5%.

The overall focus of Organic Power is to develop a balanced portfolio of both intermittent and constant large scale renewable energy sites. This is the type of capacity necessary in accomplishing the goals in the Government’s White Paper on Delivering a Sustainable Energy Future for Ireland.

Not only is Organic Power focused on deliver the energy capacity to meet the imperatives in combatting global warming and creating secure energy but most importantly to deliver strong financial returns for its investors. The financial advantages of investment in clean, reliable power generation emanate from:

  • Significant price premiums per Kilowatt of power produced
  • Faster completion of projects due to priority grid connections
  • Avoidance of carbon emission penalties associated with fossil fuel power generation
